Jerudong Park Brunei

Jerudong Park is an amusement park in Jerudong, Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. It is the largest and most expensive amusement park in Southeast Asia, built and funded by the Bruneian government for $1 billion. During its first few years of operation, the park was completely free, with no admission fees and free rides. In 2009, it was reported that the number of visitors and tourists had dropped significantly.[1] The owners introduced[when?] a one-time B$15 admission fee and a ride ticketing system. Currently, the theme park has reduced its footprint to Phase 1 and 2, the original Playground. It has revised its ride admission with a new ticket card system. The park is once again free entry to the general public with a fee to use a ride or other attraction. An $8 ticket card has 4 slots and 1 free slot (effectively allowing one guest to use 5 rides/attractions - or 2 guests to use two rides with one extra). The $10 ticket card has 5 slots plus 3 free slots (which means a guest can use 8 rides attractions and so on).

Ocean Park Vientiane

Half of Ocean Park seems to be permanently closed when we attended. Not sure if it was closed for maintenance or what, most signs did say it was closed for cleaning. But in this section, the grass was overgrown and there was rubbish on the ground. If you have been to Laos rubbish on the ground is sometimes thicker than grass.

So what was open at this Vientiane water park? The wave pool was opened. It was a big size, to be honest, and broken up into 2 sections. One section was 2 meters deep and the other 3 meters deep.

The paint is peeling off the bottom of the wave pool and floats all through the water along with sand. Not hsure where the sand comes from as there is no sand onsite. So it needs to be said it’s not the cleanest water you will find but it is not dirty either.
